Nicholas Cooper
Nicholas Henry Charles Cooper (born 14 October 1953) is a former English cricketer. Cooper was a left-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He was born in Bristol.
Cooper made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire against Yorkshire in the 1975 County Championship. In 1979 he undertook studies at the University of Cambridge, while there he played first-class cricket for Cambridge University Cricket Club, making his debut against Leicestershire. Cooper is currently teaching geology at Westcliff High School for Boys, where he has been working for over 30 years. His experience has led him to be one of the two department heads in the geography and geology department. Naturally he takes his place as 'Head of Geology'.
